Psychological counselling
What to expect from counselling
- A safe space – a place where you can come exactly as you are and talk about things that may not be easy to share.
- To feel heard and understood – your experiences will not be judged or minimised. Instead, we will work together to better understand what is happening for you and in your life.
- Support that is right for you – everyone is different, so I focus on what matters to you and what kind of support you need at this point in your life.
- Collaboration – together, we will explore ways that could help you move forward.
In my work, I draw on different approaches, including techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. Above all, however, I value our relationship and collaboration.
What might our work together look like?
→ During our first session, we will get to know each other and explore what is currently happening in your life, as well as the main areas you would like to work on. It is also an opportunity for you to get a sense of whether my approach feels right for you.
→ From there, we can discuss what the next steps might look like. If we feel that additional support would be helpful, I can help you find the right direction and navigate the mental health system.
