My professional journey has brought me into contact with many different people, experiences and stories. I have gained diverse experience in the mental health field, working in specialised care, rehabilitation, youth counselling and online counselling.
I currently work as a Peahea youth counsellor at MTÜ Peaasjad and am also involved as a research therapist in the international SELFIE research project. I am currently completing my Master’s studies at the University of Tartu, specialising in clinical psychology and counselling psychology. I have also continued to develop my professional skills through various additional training courses.
I am also passionate about taking care of my own mental wellbeing. My own “mental health vitamins” include running, padel and reformer Pilates, as well as spending time with loved ones and travelling. These are some of the things that help me maintain balance and stay attentive to my own needs, so that I can also be present for others.
I really connect with the idea that big changes often begin with small steps. I believe that we do not always need to find answers to all our questions right away. Sometimes, the first step is simply finding a safe space where you can take a moment to explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.
That is the kind of space I would like to offer you.
